“The sheet had my dates on it, not just a list. I knew on day five to tell the neighbors, and the day before which cabinets to open.”

The prep timeline
Seven days out to re-entry
The same seven steps on every tent job. Your sheet puts your dates on them.
- 7 days out
Step 1: Date set, sheet in your hands
We confirm the date, go through the sheet with you and tell you how many nights to plan for. You start lining up a place to stay for the household and the pets.
- 5 days out
Step 2: Neighbors and utilities told
Attached homes and HOA buildings get our written notice. If your sheet says the gas needs to be shut off, we arrange it with your utility.
- 3 days out
Step 3: Trim, clear and rake
Shrubs and vines come back from the walls, mulch and ground cover go away from the foundation, and nothing leans on the house.
- 1 day out
Step 4: Bag, open, take out
Food, drink and medicine that are not sealed in their original containers go in the bags we supply, or go with you. Pets and plants leave. Cabinets, drawers and interior doors open.
- Set-up day
Step 5: Tent up, keys handed over
The crew walks every room to confirm nobody and nothing living is inside, seals the tent and starts the treatment. You leave.
- While it works
Step 6: The house stays closed
Nobody goes in, including you. A sign on every door says why and gives our office number. Most jobs run two to three nights; yours is written on the sheet.
- Re-entry
Step 7: We air it out, test the air and tell you in person
The crew removes the tent, opens the house and measures the air inside. You hear from us before anyone goes in, not after.

An inspection tells us whether your house needs tenting, a spot treatment or neither. You get the findings and the scope in writing.
Services
Termite and wood-destroying pest work, start to finish
Tent fumigation
Whole-house treatment for drywood termites that run through walls and attic framing, in places a spot treatment can't reach.
How tenting worksInspections and reports
A written wood-destroying pest report for a sale, a refinance or your own peace of mind. A report is not a guarantee.
What the report saysSpot treatment
Drywood termites in a single beam or door frame can often be treated in place, with no tent. We say so when that is the case.
All servicesGround termites
Subterranean termites come up from the soil. Treatment goes on outside and at the foundation, and we explain what is done where.
All servicesHOAs and condos
One notice, one schedule and one contact for attached homes, so no neighbor learns about it from a sign.

Tent or spot?
Tent or spot treatment: both have a place
The inspection decides. This is how the two compare.
| Compare | Spot treatment | Tent fumigation |
|---|---|---|
| Where it works | Spot treatmentOne area we can reach: a beam, a door frame, a stretch of fascia | Tent fumigationThe whole structure, including walls and framing we can't open |
| Time out of the house | Spot treatmentUsually none; you stay home | Tent fumigationPlan for two or three nights; your sheet gives yours |

The number
How pricing works
No prices on this page, because no two houses are alike. The written estimate is the number.
What decides the price
Four things move a tenting estimate most.
The size of the house: floor area and number of stories
The roof and walls: how the tent can be set and sealed, and whether homes are attached
Access around the foundation: landscaping, fences, tight side yards
How many nights the treatment needs
What the estimate includes, and what it doesn't
A written estimate lists the inspection findings, the area to be tented, the prep we expect from you and the warranty terms. It leaves out lodging, kennel costs and repair of existing damage, which is a separate quote.
What happens at the visit
An inspector looks at the attic access, eaves, garage and outside walls, and the subarea where there is one. Whether the inspection fee is credited toward a tent job is written on your estimate.
When you get the number
In writing, after the inspection and before anything is scheduled. We don't quote a house we haven't seen.
Customers
What the sheet got right
“I came back to a note on the door with the time the air test was done and a number to call. That was the part I had worried about.”
“Our agent needed a report before closing. It said what was found and what could not be checked, and the tent date came after.”

Questions we hear before a tent goes up
How long will we be out of the house?
Most tent jobs run two to three nights from set-up to re-entry. Larger homes, attached buildings and weather can add time. Your sheet gives the count for your house, and we call you if it moves.
What about children, pets and plants?
Nobody stays in the house during the treatment: not people, pets or houseplants. We tell you when to leave and when you may return, we follow the product label and state rules, and we measure the air before we say it is clear. Ask us for the product list and the safety data sheet.
Do I need a tent, or is a spot treatment enough?
It depends on what the inspection finds. Activity in one place, with a clean inspection everywhere else, is often treated in place. Activity in several areas, or in places we can't reach, is what tenting is for. We tell you which, and why.
Does the inspection report guarantee anything?
No. A report describes what the inspector could see on the day and what could not be reached. It is not a guarantee that nothing is hidden, and it does not promise what will happen later.
What does the warranty cover?
Every tent job comes with a written warranty. Its length, what it covers and what voids it are on the page we give you before you sign. Read it first and ask about anything it does not say.
Can I talk to someone in Spanish?
Yes. Britney Casarez, our customer coordinator, speaks Spanish and walks households through the prep sheet. Ask for her when you call.
