Tent fumigation
Tenting treats the whole house at once
For drywood termites living inside walls and framing, we seal the house under a tent and treat the whole structure in one go.
Termites in a single beam can often be treated in place, and we will say so. When the inspection finds activity in several areas, or in places we cannot reach, tenting is how all of them are treated together.
Done by licensed fumigators, with people, pets and plants out
Planned around a written prep sheet for your house
Cleared by an air test before anyone goes back in

The job
Four steps, in order
- 01
Inspect
An inspector looks at the attic access, eaves, garage, outside walls and subarea, and writes down what is found and what couldn't be reached.
- 02
Scope
You get the area to be tented, the prep we expect from you and the warranty terms in writing, before a date is set.
- 03
Tent and treat
The crew seals the house under the tent, confirms nobody is inside and treats. The house stays closed; a sign on every door says why.
- 04
Clear and re-enter
We remove the tent, air the house and measure the air. You are told in person when you can go back in.
Warranty
A written warranty, with its terms
Every tent job comes with a written warranty. Its length, what it covers and what voids it are on the page we give you before you sign.
A warranty is only as good as its terms, so we put them where you can read them first.
Read it before you agree, and ask about anything it does not say
What is not covered is listed beside what is
Termites we did not find or treat are outside it unless the page says otherwise

Questions about tenting
How long will we be out of the house?
Most tent jobs run two to three nights from set-up to re-entry. Larger homes, attached buildings and weather can add time. Your sheet gives the count for your house, and we call you if it moves.
Where do we stay, and who pays?
The household arranges and pays for its own lodging. We give you the number of nights to plan for as early as the inspection, so you can book. Ask us for a pet boarding list if you need one.
What about children, pets and plants?
Nobody stays in the house during the treatment: not people, pets or houseplants. We tell you when to leave and when you may return, we follow the product label and state rules, and we measure the air before we say it is clear. Ask us for the product list and the safety data sheet.
Do I need a tent, or is a spot treatment enough?
It depends on what the inspection finds. Activity in one place, with a clean inspection everywhere else, is often treated in place. Activity in several areas, or in places we can't reach, is what tenting is for. We tell you which, and why.
